About Me

Ashley Sosa is a passionate Multimedia Journalist and Communications Specialist based in Austin, Texas. A first-generation Mexican American and proud daughter of parents from Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, Ashley brings a deep sense of cultural pride and purpose to her work. She currently serves as a Communications Associate at Texas Alliance for Life, where she creates impactful content across social media, video, radio, and print, and advocates for public policy.

Her previous experience includes reporting and production with Univision 41 and storytelling projects with Enlace News and The Mesquite at Texas A&M University-San Antonio, where she earned her B.A. in Communications with a minor in Spanish.

One of Ashley’s greatest passions is educating and empowering the Latino community, especially in areas where they have historically been unheard or misrepresented. A devoted Catholic, Ashley also finds deep joy in hearing people’s life stories and sharing them with the world, believing that every voice has power and purpose.
